Case study of manufacturing a fixture for mounting parts.

We provide tools, equipment, and products that match the voice of our customers. Please feel free to consult us about receiving jigs.

Jigs are tools designed to enable efficient work during the manufacturing process of products (various items produced in factories, etc.). Unlike mass-produced items, jigs are tailored to the specific needs of customers who bring in their products. We carefully listen to how they want to modify the product and what kind of work they wish to perform, and then create tools, equipment, and products that suit those needs. After designing, processing, and assembling, we confirm whether it meets the customer's requirements and matches their expectations before delivery. *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.*

*Improvement Case: Three-Jaw Chuck Fixture - Materials Available Now!*

Introducing a case where the amount of protrusion can also be adjusted by stacking the receiving jigs!

Here is a case study regarding a receiving jig for a three-jaw chuck. We were constantly searching for something to support the product underneath. When nothing was available, we would fix it only with the chuck, which resulted in weak holding force in the Z direction, sometimes causing movement. Therefore, we created a receiving jig for the three-jaw chuck. This allowed for secure fixation, and by stacking items, we could also adjust the protrusion amount. ★Case Study ■Subject: Receiving Jig for Three-Jaw Chuck ■Strategy: Ease of Use ■Effect: Improved workability Our company is engaged in research and development, prototyping, and small-lot manufacturing across a wide range of fields, including medical devices, aerospace, optics, electronics, and office automation. We produce high-precision, high-quality items daily, such as oxygen-free copper "acceleration tubes" on the micron order and "thruster injectors" used in satellites. #AccelerationTube #ThrusterInjector *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. Ceramics Processing Example: Porous Ceramics Heat Distribution Pipe Holder

A heat-resistant ceramic support fixture that does not deform under high temperatures and stably supports the heat transfer tube.

Our company manufactures specialized jigs to stably support heat transfer tubes used in high-temperature processes such as firing furnaces and heat treatment furnaces. We use heat-resistant ceramics like porous alumina and zirconia, which provide dimensional stability and corrosion resistance that cannot be achieved with metals. We can prevent bending of the heat transfer tubes, ensure uniform temperature within the furnace, and propose shapes tailored to on-site challenges. We also accommodate custom manufacturing and small lots, providing support from material selection based on application. ■ Features • Made of heat-resistant ceramics that are less prone to deformation in high-temperature environments • Reduces temperature unevenness in the furnace by providing stable support for heat transfer tubes • Ensures insulation and corrosion resistance, which are difficult to achieve with metals • Supports custom shapes according to application (grooved shapes, stepped designs, hole processing, etc.) • Can be manufactured without drawings (from hearing to design) We can be flexible with small quantities for experimental and evaluation purposes. Typically, we use wooden molds for production, but there are cases where wooden molds are not required. *For more details, please feel free to contact the following address. Sankou Co., Ltd. [Processing Example] Laser Coating Removal from 3D Shapes

Create a rotating fixture! Significant reduction in initial costs and processing costs is possible.

We would like to introduce a case of "laser coating removal on 3D shapes" that our company conducted. There was a challenge in wanting to remove the coating from the top and sides of a circular product with multiple 3D protrusions, which required five processes per location. Additionally, the cost of the fixtures needed for the protrusions was significantly high. We created a rotating fixture and adjusted it so that the surface to be laser processed would be horizontal when rotated. This allowed for a significant reduction in initial and processing costs, resulting in cost savings. [Case Overview] ■ Challenges/Background: Five processes required per location, leading to high fixture costs. ■ Solution: - Created a rotating fixture to ensure the processing surface was horizontal. - Enabled continuous processing by linking the laser machine with the fixture. ■ Results/Effects: Achieved significant reductions in initial and processing costs, leading to cost savings. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
